My Uncle John "Exaba" Irving
In celebration of Kansas City Royals success I want to celebrate my Uncle John "Exaba" Irving who played for the Royals in 1969. He autographed this photo when I was 10 years old and it still hangs on my wall. Above his signature he wrote, "Seek excellence and all things will be possible". Even at ten years old- that statement resonated with me and planted a seed in me that has grown steadily through the years. It is a statement that I live by today and that I try to instill in others. I'd like to share it with my FB family. It's a true gift to able to celebrate those who celebrate you as well as those who don't.
